BTR Driver
Description:
The APC Driver is a unique in-game character patrolling locations such as "The Forest" and "The Streets of Tarkov." He can transport up to four players using in-game currency and has his own quest line that must be completed within the raid.
Behavior:
- Neutral towards players unless they attack him or provide fire support;
- Becomes hostile when attacked (including attacks from the Scav faction);
- Stops for two minutes at each point along the route;
- Before departing, he beeps twice, 10 seconds before departure.
Services:
- Transportation: Transportation to any point on the map. The cost of transportation depends on the distance, Scav karma level, and the player's charisma.
- Delivery to Stash (PMCs only): Allows you to send items while maintaining the "Found in Raid" status. The container's capacity depends on your Scav karma.
- Fire Support (PMCs only, after ordering transportation): The APC attacks nearby PMC players during deployment.
Quests:
The quest chain begins with the Mechanic quest "Helping Hand." All of them are related to APCs in raids.

Route:
The APC follows a central route between key points in the Streets of Tarkov and Forest locations in each raid. It is easily spotted by the loud sounds coming from the center of the map.
In Streets of Tarkov, the APC stops at the following points:
- Pinewood Hotel;
- Rodina Cinema;
- Fallen Crane;
- Cardinal Residential Complex;
- Tram Stop;
- City Center.
In the Forest, it can be found at the following locations:
- USEC Checkpoint;
- Sawmill;
- Scav Bunker;
- Flooded Village;
- Old Sawmill;
- Fork in the Center;
- Ministry of Emergency Situations Base.
APC Driver's Base:
The APC Driver's Base is located in the northwestern part of the Forest, next to the railroad – look for a large depot with garages and warehouses. The easiest way to get there is by moving northwest from the spawn along the railroad tracks, following the sound of the APC. You can complete quests at the depot, as well as find military supplies, tools, and rare loot in crates and garages.
